Arturo García

De 57 años, de Joliet, IL, falleció luego de un accidente industrial el miércoles 18 de octubre de 2023 en el Centro Médico Loyola, con su amada familia a su lado. Nacido el 28 de mayo de 1966 en México, Arturo era hijo de Juan y María Angelina García. Fue criado en México. Arturo se casó con María Graciela García en enero de 1987, vinieron a Estados Unidos y se establecieron en Joliet.

Arturo trabajó en Control de Calidad para Northfield Block Company durante 11 años.

Era miembro de la Iglesia Católica San Juan Bautista en Joliet.

Arturo tuvo la suerte de haber experimentado 11 años de sobriedad, lo que realmente fortaleció su vínculo con su amada familia.

Él fue nuestra inspiración como el pilar de nuestra familia. Nos enseñó que los pequeños momentos en familia son los más importantes. Reímos, lloramos, bailamos, bromeamos. Tenía un gran carisma, era generoso, juguetón y cariñoso incluso en sus peores días. Él puede ponerte una sonrisa en la cara incluso en tus peores días.

Podríamos estar discutiendo entre nosotros dos minutos después y regresar como si nada hubiera pasado. Era realmente una persona cariñosa.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa durante 36 años, María García; Hijos, Juan Arturo García, Francisco Javier García, Yuri García, Leticia García. Tuvo la suerte de conocer a sus yernos Cristian y Osvaldo y a su nuera Irene. También tuvo la suerte de tener nietos, Melanie, Adan, Elianna, Jinelly. Los padres de Arturo García son Juan y Angelina García, incluidos los hermanos Antonio, Alfredo, Martín, Uvaldo, Juan, Fernando, María Trinidad, María Elena, Ana y Celso, además de numerosas sobrinas, sobrinos y primos. Arturo Garcia

Age 57 of Joliet, IL, passed away following an industrial accident on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Loyola Medical Center, with his loving family by his side.

Born May 28, 1966 in Mexico, Arturo was a son of Juan and Maria Angelina Garcia. He was raised in Mexico. Arturo married Maria Graciela Garcia in January of 1987, and they came to America and

settled in Joliet.

Arturo worked in Quality Control for Northfield Block Company for 11 years.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Joliet.

Arturo was blessed to have experienced 11 years of sobriety, which truly strengthened his bond with his beloved family. He was our inspiration like the pillar of our family. He taught us that the little moments with the family are the most important ones.

We laughed, we cried, we danced, we joked. He had great charisma, was generous, playful and loving even on his worst days.

He can put a smile on your face even on your worst days. We could be arguing among each other two minutes later and comes back like nothing happened. He was really a loving person.

 

Survivors include his loving spouse of 36 years, Maria Garcia; children, Juan Arturo Garcia, Francisco Javier Garcia, Yuri Garcia, Leticia Garcia. He was fortune to meet his sons-in-laws Cristian and Osvaldo and daughter-in-law Irene. He also was fortune to be bless with grandchildren, Melanie, Adan, Elianna, Jinelly. Parents of Arturo Garcia are Juan and Angelina Garcia Including siblings,

Antonio, Alfredo, Martin, Uvaldo, Juan, Fernando, Maria Trinidad, Maria Elena, Ana and Celso, numerous of nieces, nephews and cousins. We will always love you (El Guapo).

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2023 between the hours of 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. at Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home, 1500 Black Road, Joliet, IL 60435,

Funeral services will follow on Monday, October 23, 2023 at 9:15 a.m. with prayers in the funeral home chapel, then processing to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 504 Hickory Street, Joliet, IL, for a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Father Ed officiating. Arturo will be laid to rest in St. Mary Nativity Catholic Cemetery, Crest Hill, IL.
