Bryan C. “Bubbie” Clemens

At the age of 19, Bryan passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026—just one day after celebrating his 19th birthday.

Born September 8, 2007, Bryan was the son of Christoper J. Clemens and Danelle A. Richardson.

He was a graduate of Troy Middle School, Joliet Township Central High School - Class of 2026, and currently enrolled with the Joliet Township Transition Program. Bryan was a proud member of the Miracle League baseball organization and the Special Olympics Bowling League of Joliet. He was an enthusiastic fan of Elvis Presley, Star Wars, and family vacations to Disney World—where he delighted in the unforgettable experience of personally meeting Mickey Mouse. Bubbie was known for his beautiful singing voice and his love for Elvis Presley. He also had a special fascination with garbage trucks and cherished the occasions when he could meet and visit with the drivers from the Waste Management team.

His greatest joy came from spending weekends watching his Uncle Matt (Go 99!) race, with family and friends at the Grundy County Speedway Races. There, he loved meeting the drivers and connecting with the many race fans who quickly became part of his extended community.

Though he faced the challenges of Cerebral Palsy, Bubbie embraced life with remarkable spirit and fullness. His presence, his joy, and his courage will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Bryan is survived by his loving and dedicated parents, Christopher Clemens and Danelle Richardson; devoted sister, Ashley (Charles) Walter; loving niece, Bowie Dianne; grandparents, Ray and Debbie Clemens; uncles, Matt (Melanie) Clemens, Sr. and Dan Clemens; cousins, Joey Richardson and Matthew Clemens, Jr.; and a multitude of friends, too many to mention.

Bryan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darrel Richardson, Diane Richmond and Larry Routt; and uncle, Darren Richardson.

"There'll be no sadness, no sorrow No trouble, trouble I see, There will be peace in the valley for me" - Elvis Presley
